So, with all good intentions in the world I set out from my office and realized..... I didn't pack my tennis shoes. :(
So, I did not go to zumba. And I did not go to tai chi. I ate a fairly healthy dinner and talked to my mom and then laid on the couch. I'm okay with it.
I will go to Yoga tomorrow.... I don't even need shoes for that :)

Baby steps!!! Baby steps! Set expectations you know you will achieveis that cheating?? SURELY NOT!!! it is obtaining your goal! So if you can't (or really don't want to do something 3x a week) make it 1x. and when you have obtained that for let say 4-5 weeks, then increase your goal to 1x one week and 2x the other and alternate. the thing i have realized is that, if I expect myself to do too much to soon, I fail all around, and then I just don't care.
ReplyDeleteYou can do this!!! I know you can!!! same goes for hummus and pita chips! =-) I scoop out dip into a bowl, then pour chips into another bowl. and put the rest away. I plop on the couch and watch TV and eat away until my heart is content. Knowing that I didn't eat all the hummus or the whole bag. ;) (Because I HAVE been known to do that! LOL)
Totally agree with Joleen. Its not easy...but it feels easier when you take one step at a time. You can do this girl! You are strong, stronger than you think :-) don't let one bad day get you down. ..we all have bad days. Make small goals..and when you reach them, make some more :-) there is a saying that I love..."no one said it would be easy, but it will be worth it". Surround yourself with positive people. ..I got rid of the negative people in my life and it has made a huge difference! I have faith in you. ...you got this!
